Quality and Accreditation Officer
Our goal is to support education across the continuum of our learners: students, residents, and faculty and to support all involved in medical education. We commit to a collaborative learning environment for students and foster teamwork and interprofessional endeavors.
Our office works to further the educational goals of the School of Medicine, facilitates the operation of committees involved in curriculum governance, and we are administratively overseeing the self study process for our accreditation site visit by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). We also supervise our programs and accreditation in continuing medical education and support education efforts for our residencies and The Graduate School.
We were in the midst of a major curriculum reform effort in undergraduate medical education involving faculty, students and staff in an endeavor that transformed education for our medical students.
We strive to promote lifelong learning, collaborative team efforts, and collegial relationships among all of our students, residents, faculty, and staff. The core team in Academic Educational Affairs is located in AM045 and we welcome your visits, input, and participation in our educational programs.
