Corbinian Wanner, MD
UConn School of Medicine, Class of 2025

Corbinian Wanner is an MD/MPH graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Graduate School, earning his degrees in May 2025. He also earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Biological Sciences, with minors in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Spanish.

Throughout medical school, Corbinian focused on developing and expanding global health–focused primary care clinical opportunities for medical students, residents, fellows, and attending physicians. In November 2024, he led a team of 20 individuals from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine to conduct the second annual community clinic in La Piedra, Dominican Republic. Working alongside local physicians and national dental health services, the team provided care to nearly 3,000 patients over a three-day period.

Corbinian plans to pursue residency training in Pediatrics, with the goal of practicing as a pediatrician committed to caring for children and families at both the local and global levels.

Julia Levin
UConn School of Medicine, Class of 2026

Julia Levin is a fourth-year medical student with a strong interest in primary care. Originally from Dartmouth, Massachusetts, she graduated from the University of Connecticut in May 2021 with a major in Physiology and Neurobiology and minors in Gerontology and Neuroscience.

Following graduation, Julia completed an AmeriCorps service term with the Connecticut Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program Office, where she helped organize the Biomedical Engineering Discovery Saturday Program, the Connecticut Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, and multiple Urban Service Track/AHEC Scholars initiatives.

During medical school, Julia has remained actively engaged with the UST/AHEC Scholars program, Primary Care Progress, and research focused on pediatric lead exposure and Medicare Advantage care management for cognitively vulnerable older adults. She is excited to be part of this program and to help foster a supportive learning environment for medical students pursuing careers in primary care.

Autumn Leavitt
UConn School of Medicine, Class of 2027

Autumn Leavitt is a third-year medical student in the Class of 2027 at the UConn School of Medicine. She grew up in Haddam, Connecticut, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, where she majored in Physiology and Neurobiology.

Prior to medical school, Autumn worked on a research project focused on promoting preventive health screenings. She is currently engaged in a project at a pediatric clinic aimed at identifying social determinants of health–related barriers and connecting patients and their families with resources to improve health outcomes. Autumn values the impact of primary care physicians on patients’ day-to-day lives and is especially drawn to the long-term relationships they build with individuals and families.
